Behind this is decades of hard work. In 1958, Fushun Aluminum Factory produced the first batch of titanium sponge, achieving a breakthrough in the industrial production of titanium sponge. Around 1980, the output of titanium sponge in my country reached 2,800 tons. In July 1982, the State Council established a national leading group for the promotion of titanium application across ministries and commissions to coordinate the development of the titanium industry. In the early 1980s, the first batch of national standards in my country were officially promulgated and implemented. In recent years, my country has become the world's largest titanium producer and consumer, accounting for about 50% of global titanium production and consumption.

However, most of the titanium industry cites and learns from the international standard system, and there is a lack of "Chinese voice" in the international standard system, which restricts the international development of my country's titanium industry. Baoti Group is one of the first large-scale specialized state-owned enterprises in my country to carry out scientific research, production and application research on titanium and titanium alloys. Therefore, in 2020, Baotai Group participated in the preparation of 2 ISO international standards, and released and implemented them, realizing the first strategic goal of "following"; followed by the release and implementation of ISO 23515, Baotai Group achieved ISO international standards. The important symbol of the second step of the standardization development strategy, "walking in step", has laid a solid foundation for the realization of the goal of "leading" in the third step.

The research and development are progressing smoothly, and they have entered the DIS (solicitation for comments) stage, and are expected to be released and implemented in the near future....
