2021 Titanium dioxide production analysis in May
According to LYDD statistics, China's titanium dioxide production in May 2021 was 331,900 tons, up 1.83% YoY and 23.66% YoY, and the total production from January to May 2021 was about 1,587,800 tons, up 19.41% YoY.
Regional production has increased and decreased, some manufacturers by the device maintenance and environmental protection group strict investigation and other effects have reduced production, Guangxi area environmental protection inspection is completed, enterprise production resumed, production upward.
May production ranking of the top three regions are Sichuan, Shandong, Anhui, distribution accounted for 23%, 15%, 12% of total production.
May's chloride production was at 25,000 tons, up 11% from April's output.
The current market into the off-season, demand has weakened, soaring shipping prices coupled with high domestic titanium dioxide prices, the export market has turned weaker this month, manufacturers to maintain full production, but the market demand is still strong, the supply is tight, titanium dioxide prices remain high.
